Most births in Greece take place in the hospital. Perhaps that was always your plan or perhaps you had pictured something different: a midwife-led birth, a birth centre, or the kind of care you would have had back home. Either way, a Greek hospital can work very differently from what you expect. The policies, the paperwork and the language are new, and who does what in the birth room may surprise you. It can feel as if birth is something that will simply happen to you. It does not have to be. This free call is a calm space for you and your partner (highly encouraged) to talk about your pregnancy, your plans and whatever is on your mind. Whether it is your hospital, your care provider, the paperwork or the first weeks at home, we will start with what matters most to you and look at where you stand. You will leave with: - A clearer picture of where you are ready and where you might still have some gaps - One or two practical steps you can take this week - Ideas for shaping a birth that reflects your values and needs, even if hospital was not your first choice - If it would help, a suggestion for the right next step Instead of wondering what you do not know, you can walk into your birth informed, prepared and ready to speak up for yourself and your baby. This call is for you if: - You are having a baby in Greece, ideally between 20 and 36 weeks - Greek is not your or your partner's first language - The Greek system feels confusing, or you are not sure what you do not know yet After you book, you will fill in a short form so I can better prepare before we speak. There is no pressure to book anything after our call. If I am not the right person for what you need, I will tell you and point you towards someone or something that is. Already had your baby? You are very welcome to book too. We will focus on feeding, recovery and how you are settling in.
