MEET EMILIA

Antenatal Educator &  Perinatal Coach, Founder of Parent Path

Hi! My name is Emilia Nathanail and I am the founder of Parent Path. I am an Antenatal Educator and Perinatal Coach, accredited by the University of Worcester and an active parent educator with the National Childbirth Trust (NCT) in the United Kingdom.

When I became pregnant with my eldest daughter, I was living far away from my wider family, navigating not only the joys of pregnancy but also the uncertainty and loneliness that can come with starting a parenting journey abroad. It was also at the beginning of the pandemic which made everything more difficult.

Joining an antenatal course offered my husband and myself an invaluable experience - evidence-based information, a supportive community, and a sense of confidence that stayed with me long after my baby arrived.

That experience totally shaped my path. I went on to study at the University of Worcester, qualified as an antenatal educator, and expanded my expertise as a breastfeeding counselor and postnatal doula. My mission is to offer holistic, inclusive support to every expectant and new parent - whether they're navigating pregnancy near home or far from it, whether it's their first baby, second or next.

Having supported hundreds of families in the UK and Greece, I’m passionate about creating a space where you feel empowered, prepared, and part of a likeminded community - because no one should walk the path of parenthood alone.

Join the Parent Path community - where every step of your journey is supported with care, understanding, and confidence.

  • Where and when are the courses taking place?
The courses are mainly offered online. Parent Path uses your expected due date to determine the most suitable course for you - for the antenatal course ideally we want both parents to attend around week 30 of the pregnancy. Some courses on specific dates will be offered in person (both in Greece and the United Kingdom). Also, some courses are a combination of online and in-person sessions (hybrid). Please select the ideal course for you through this link. In case you are not sure about which course would be the ideal for you may email Emilia at info@parentpath.eu.
  • What will be covered in each session of the antenatal course?
Every course is tailored to the needs of the group, so no course is exactly the same. You may read more information about the topics of the courses in each course's description. The agenda will be co-created with attendees based on their needs.
  • How much do the courses cost?
Please refer to the 'Antenatal Support' page to see detailed costs and information about Parent Path's offerings.
  • How can I attend an upcoming course?
You may visit this page or email Emilia at info@parentpath.eu and more information will be sent to you via email to complete your booking.
  • I'm not sure which the ideal dates for attending a course are, what do I do?
The ideal time for you to join an antenatal course is around week 30 of gestation. If you are unsure about the right timing, feel free to email Emilia at info@parentpath.eu, share your due date and we will share with you potential dates.
  • I cannot make it to one of the sessions, what do I do?
Depending on the circumstances and based on the facilitator's availability, you might be offered a catch-up session. It is best though if you can book a course that you can make all sessions.
  • Can I cancel or change the booking?
In the exceptional circumstance that we may be required to reschedule a course and change your booking, we will always try to find a mutually agreeable suitable alternative, or else we will issue a full refund. The course requires a minimum number of participants to run and we reserve the right to cancel the course and issue a full-refund if numbers are not met. If you are unable to attend any session of your course due to medical reasons, where this is accompanied by a letter from your medical team, we will arrange for a catch up session. Refunds will not be given in relation for a course which you have already started, as we will be unable to fill your place. For any changes in your circumstances please reach out to info@parentpath.eu as soon as possible.
  • Can I choose to attend an in-person/ online/ hybrid course?
Not all course formats are offered at all times. If you have a specific preference please let Emilia know at info@parentpath.eu.
  • More information please?
If you have read the information on this website and would still need some clarifications or more information, please feel free to email Emilia at info@parentpath.eu.
  • Can I offer this course as a gift to a friend?
This is a lovely idea for a gift! Whether it is a gift idea for a baby shower or a gift for a loved one, you may either purchase a course on their behalf or buy them a gift card that they can redeem on any Parent Path service they like!
